VIDEO: Benzema misses penalty, Cabaye inexplicably hits crossbar on the rebound

Quite the sequence of events from today's match between France and Switzerland, during which we saw the first missed penalty of the tournament.

And that wasn't even the best part.

Karim Benzema stepped up to the spot after he was fouled in the area, but saw his effort stopped by Diego Benaglio. 

Then Yohan Cabaye somehow did this with the goal at his mercy:

France would go on to add a third shortly after, so Cabaye won't lose too much sleep over his miss. That likely won't shield him from an onslaught of jokes from his teammates, though.
