Leicester's Ulloa backtracks on threat to strike
After failing to secure a transfer away from Leicester City, Leonardo Ulloa showed up to training Wednesday in an apparent demonstration that his threat to strike was just a bluff.
The Argentine forward looked as though he was headed north to Sunderland until Leicester officials reportedly rejected a third offer from the Black Cats believed to be worth £8 million.
According to Rob Dorsett of Sky Sports, Ulloa was under the impression that a move away would be granted if Leicester received an offer worth more than £5 million.
After learning Leicester rejected a bid reportedly worth £3 million more than that, a frustrated Ulloa took to Twitter:

However, the 30-year-old has apparently backtracked, telling Dorsett he will continue to report to training with the intention of fulfilling his contractual obligations.
Leicester could use the remaining months of the season to experiment with its roster after struggling through the first half of the season. A year after winning the Premier League, the Foxes sit just two points above relegation after accumulating just 21 points through 23 matches.
That could mean increased playing time for Ulloa - whose contract expires in the summer of 2018 - to possibly boost his value with an impressive finish to the season.
