Ibrahimovic still waiting for Manchester United to 'click'

Manchester United's collection of shiny new stars have yet to find their groove this season, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains convinced that it's only a matter of time.

The Red Devils, sitting seventh in the table after Monday's dour goalless draw against Liverpool, were criticised for their tepid attacking display at Anfield, and while the giant Swede admits it has been something of a slog thus far, he says it will get better once they find the necessary spark.

"I think we're working very hard and just need to find a click among each other," he said in an interview with ESPN Brasil. "Once we find that click, it makes it easy for ourselves. We'll find each other much easier and the balance of defending and attacking will be much easier."

Ibrahimovic arrived in England amid much fanfare this summer, joining Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Eric Bailly as Jose Mourinho wasted little time revamping a squad that was crying out for an overhaul.

Naturally, it's taken time for the new faces to gel - a process which hasn't been aided by Mkhitaryan's injury issues.

"So many things are new and we are working hard. At the same time, we haven't had a lot of luck.

"Against Stoke (a 1-1 draw), we could have won the game very easily but we got one point and so on and so on. We need to work hard and stay focused, and with a little bit of luck it will come," Ibrahimovic opined.
