According to Haroon Siddique, Daniel Taylor, and Helen Pidd of the Guardian, a source at Old Trafford said the device, which was found by security, included a mobile phone and was attached to a pipe. It was reportedly believed to have been found in a set of toilets in the venue's northwest corner.
The incident was initially described as an "Operation Code Red," while anti-terror officials are apparently monitoring the situation.
As for the match, the Premier League "will seek to arrange the fixture as soon as practically possible and will advise fans accordingly."
