<p>SOUTHAMPTON, England (AP)  Fabian Delph scored the winning goal in the 80th minute to give Aston Villa a 3-2 win at Southampton, after the stubborn hosts had twice come from behind to level in an entertaining Premier League match.</p>
<p>Gabriel Agbonlahor and Libor Kozak had previously given Villa the lead, but Jay Rodriguez and Pablo Osvaldo headed in equalizers for Southampton.</p>
<p>But Delph unleashed a stunning 25-yard strike to finally settle the contest and end Southampton's unbeaten home record in the Premier League.</p>

<p>With the loss, Southampton is now five points outside the Champions League spots after surprisingly spending much of the first third of the season inside the top four.</p>
<p>Aston Villa climbed to 10th.</p>

They have been the surprise package of the early season, but Southampton's challenge to stay among the league's elite takes on a steeper road starting Wednesday when they face Aston Villa without top goalkeeper Artur Boruc.
Boruc has been a key contributor to the Saints (6-4-3) hovering near Champions League and Europa League spots through the first third of the season, conceding only eight goals - fewest among first-choice 'keepers - and trailing only Tottenham's Hugo Lloris and Everton's Tim Howard with six shutouts. But manager Mauricio Pochettino will have to move forward without the Polish standout for at least six weeks after he broke his hand on a collision with the goalpost early in the second half of Sunday's 3-1 loss at Chelsea while stopping a shot by Demba Ba.
