Keylor Navas diagnosed with Achilles problem ahead of Copa America
Keylor Navas was a volcano at the 2014 World Cup, erupting with a fiery show of saves that helped Costa Rica's national team reach the quarter-finals and resulted in a transfer to Real Madrid.
Supporters hoping for another eruption at the Copa America Centenario, however, were hit with some bad news on Monday.
Five days before Costa Rica kicks off its Copa America Centenario adventure against Paraguay, Real Madrid announced that Navas has been diagnosed with an Achilles tendinopathy but didn't attach any information as to how long he'll be unable to take the pitch.

After the tests carried out this afternoon on our player, Keylor Navas, at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, he has been diagnosed with an Achilles tendinopathy in his left foot. His recovery will continue to be assessed.
Real Madrid's announcement comes two days after Los Blancos defeated their southern rival, Atletico Madrid, on penalty kicks to win the 2015-16 Champions League.
If Navas is ruled out of the Copa America Centenario, Costa Rica will be forced to turn to Liga Deportiva Alajuelense's Patrick Pemberton or Trabzonspor's Esteban Alvarado in goal.
