Lionel Messi has beaten out Cristiano Ronaldo yet again.

The Barcelona superstar won the UEFA Goal of the Season award Thursday, after fans voted his soul-destroying finish against Jerome Boateng and Bayern Munich the best in Europe.

Messi edged Ronaldo for the award after claiming 39 percent of the vote, as fans preferred his demolition of the Bayern backline to the Real Madrid player's clever finish against Liverpool.
