Manchester City 'keeper Joe Hart will return to starting lineup against Roma
Manchester City's first-choice goalkeeper will be back between the sticks for the club's pivotal Champions League clash against Roma on Tuesday.
Manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed that Joe Hart will replace Willy Caballero for the Group E match, returning to the pitch after spending the last two games as an unused substitute.
ESPN FC has the details:
"Yes, yes," Pellegrini told reporters who asked if Hart would play in the match. "He is in a very good moment also. It's a crucial game because Roma won their first match and we lost. It will be a very tough group and we cannot drop points here at home. It's very important for us to win that game."
Caballero, who joined the Citizens from Malaga this summer, was given a chance to showcase his skills against Sheffield (Capital One Cup) and Hull City (Premier League) over the past week, but it was always expected that he would be the backup to Hart this season, and that seems to be exactly how the situation is playing out.
