Bo Levi Mitchell and the Calgary Stampeders hit pay dirt in both overtime mini-games to complete a 34-28 comeback win - and a home-and-home sweep - against the Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday.

Calgary (9-1-1) extended its undefeated streak to 10 games, but the run was in peril throughout the night in a typically tight rematch game between the Alberta archrivals at Commonwealth Stadium. After a delay-of-game penalty put Calgary on the 11-yard line for a do-or-done two-point convert attempt in the first OT, Mitchell came up with a perfect back-shoulder throw to receiver DaVaris Daniels to force another mini-game.

Mitchell completed a 23-yard touchdown to Bakari Grant in the second mini-game to give the Stampeders their only lead. Calgary then stopped Edmonton on downs. On third down, linebacker Alex Singleton pressured Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly into an early throw to Adarius Bowman that Joe Burnett helped break up to seal the win.

Calgary stayed three points in front of the B.C. Lions (8-3) for the West Division lead. Edmonton (5-6) fell four points adrift of the third-place Winnipeg Blue Bombers (7-4), but a crossover berth is in play for the defending Grey Cup champions. The Toronto Argonauts (4-6), who have lost QB Ricky Ray for an extended stretch due to lung and rib injuries, are third in the East.

Edmonton's Sean Whyte missed a 52-yard field goal on the final play of the fourth quarter, forcing the game to overtime. he's 2-of-5 this season from 50 or more yards.

Mitchell was 25-of-38 for 338 yards with three TDs and one interception. Daniels made six receptions for 113 yards, including TD catches on back-to-back drives to help the Stampeders erased a 14-point deficit. Grant added six receptions for 89 yards and one TD, while short-yardage QB Andrew Buckley also scored on a short run. Rene Paredes, who was 2-of-3 on field goals, had his streak stopped at 32.

Reilly was 35-of-45 for 432 yards and two TDs, while also scoring a rushing TD for the fifth game in a row. All-star receiver Derel Walker (seven receptions for 164) and Bowman (10 for 119) each scored touchdowns, while Nate Coehoorn scored a two-point convert. Whyte was 2-of-3 on field goals.

Defensive end Phillip Hunt, who signed with Edmonton on Tuesday, had two sacks during his first CFL game in more than five years. Hunt led the CFL in sacks with Winnipeg in 2010 before trying the NFL.

The second of back-to-back games took a toll. Calgary left guard Shane Bergman went down with an injury, which led to defensive lineman Junior Turner filling in during the fourth quarter and overtime. Edmonton lost both regular running backs. John White left with a banged-up left shoulder and Calvin McCarty also came out after a heavy hit.

It was the third overtime game for each team. Calgary is 2-0-1, while Edmonton is 1-2.

Calgary hosts the Ottawa RedBlacks (5-4-1) on Saturday in Week 13, while Edmonton visits the Saskatchewan Roughriders (1-10) on Sunday.
