Drmic, 23, joined Monchengladbach from Bayer Leverkusen last year but has struggled to make an impact at Borussia-Park, scoring only one goal through 13 Bundesliga appearances this season.
At the 2014 World Cup, Drmic was an instrumental figure for Switzerland's national team, tallying two assists to help his country reach the Round of 16.
