No longer is Jeffrey Gouweleeuw the captain at AFAS Stadion.
FC Augsburg signed Gouweleeuw from AZ Alkmaar on Saturday, as the Dutch centre-back put pen to paper on a contract with the German club through 2018.

Gouweleeuw, 24, appeared in all six of AZ's fixtures in the group stage of the Europa League, including two matches against Augsburg. Over the course of those matches, he averaged an insane 5.7 clearances per game, as well as 2.7 interceptions per game and 2.5 tackles per game.
153 - Since July 2014, only Frank van der Struijk (177) made more interceptions in the Eredivisie than Jeffrey Gouweleeuw (153). Vision.
