After undergoing a medical check, Hinteregger, 23, will travel with Max Eberl, Monchengladbach's sporting director, and Steffen Korell, the club's manager, to Belek, Turkey, where the team is involved in a training camp.
Since making his professional debut at Red Bull Salzburg in 2010, Hinteregger has tallied 128 Austrian Bundesliga appearances and scored five goals. He also holds 10 caps to his name with Austria's national team and will be part of its squad for Euro 2016.
