Manager Carlo Ancelotti is confident that Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller, and Douglas Costa will overcome their respective injuries ahead of Bayern Munich's quarter-final encounter with Real Madrid on April 12.

Muller picked up an ankle injury during Bayern's 6-0 triumph over Augsburg on Saturday. Ancelotti is holding out hope that he could be fit for Sunday's match against Borussia Dortmund, but confirmed Muller will miss Tuesday's clash with Hoffenheim.

"He needs a two-day break," Ancelotti said Monday. "We'll have to see whether he'll be fit to face Dortmund."

He added: "We're certain he'll be ready to play again when we face Real."

Meanwhile, Neuer will also sit out Tuesday's match after last week's operation for a foot injury he suffered during training. The procedure was minor, and Ancelotti revealed the Germany international has started an individual training program.

"He’s 100 percent certain to be in goal against Real," Ancelotti said.

Costa is expected to be in the fold when Bayern hosts the defending Champions League titleholders as he works his way back from a knee problem.

"He's on track," Ancelotti added. "Hes working hard with great intensity."

Finally, Ancelotti revealed that Bayern will be without Thiago Alcantara against Hoffenheim after determining that the Spanish midfielder deserves a rest following his heavy workload of late.
