Kinglsey Coman and Javi Martinez edged closer to returning after taking part in training on Thursday.
The Bayern Munich duo took part in individual training, as Coman attempts to overcome a torn ligament in his knee and a tear in his left ankle that's kept him out for two months, while Martinez works his way back from a cold that forced him to miss the club's first sessions in Doha, Qatar.
Bayern has yet to reveal a timetable for their returns.
However, barring any setbacks, Coman and Martinez may be available when Bayern takes on SC Freiburg on Jan. 20 after the Bundesliga's winter break.
