Hummels blasts Borussia Dortmund: 'Everything is possible and nothing is decided yet'

Mats Hummels wasn't a fan of Borussia Dortmund's decision to release a statement outlining his desire to leave the team this summer.

The German defender blasted the team's decision to publish the statement, calling it "misleading" during an encounter with Borussia Dortmund fans. The comments come on the heels of Hummels being jeered by home supporters last weekend against VfL Wolfsburg.

"This sh**ty statement has made a misleading expression," Hummels, as translated by Sky Sports, told a fan who was recording the interaction.

"I have no idea why they had to do it. Everything is possible and nothing is decided yet."

The Bundesliga side released a statement last week saying Hummels, who has one year left on his current deal, "wishes" to leave after the season concludes and return to Bayern Munich, where he spent a majority of his career before joining Dortmund in 2009.

"Borussia Dortmund's board has subsequently decided to make such a transfer dependent on whether Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund can agree a satisfactory fee," the statement read. "So far, Bayern Munich have not made an offer."
