Rafael Nadal can add another Mercedes Cup title to his trophy case, next to his two existing ones.
The Spaniard was dominant Sunday, befitting his top-seed status, as he registered 11 aces en route to a straight-sets 7-6, 6-3 win over eight-seed Viktor Troicki.
The grass-court win could prove to be beneficial for the tennis all-star, as it leads up to one of the most prestigious Grand Slams, also played on grass: Wimbledon.
Following the quarterfinal loss from Roland Garros, Nadal dropped from No. 7 in the world to his current position of No. 10.
Before Wimbledon, however, he'll look to continue his momentum next week at the Aegon Open.
