World No. 9 Sloane Stephens was upset in three sets by No. 19 Johanna Konta in third-round play at Wimbledon on Saturday.

Stephens looked to be in control early, taking the first set 6-3. But Konta narrowly won the second set 6-4 before completely taking over the match in the third, ultimately winning the deciding set 6-1.

"I just kept plugging away," said the Australian-born Brit, according to Simon Cambers of The Guardian. "She was playing incredibly well and I was fully prepared to not be coming back after that second set. I thought I did a good job in trying to mix things up. I just kept the pressure on and I'm really pleased with the tennis I am playing."

Konta has Stephens' number, as she's now won all four of her meetings with the American.
