Bologna are waiting for a decision from head coach Thiago Motta regarding his future after Juventus offered him a three-year contract to take over in Turin, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

Juve fired Massimiliano Allegri on Friday due to his conduct near the end of his team's Coppa Italia final win over Atalanta. Allegri tore off his jacket and screamed in the face of the fourth official after the referee failed to award a foul during injury time. He then whipped his tie away and unbuttoned his shirt after being sent off.

Allegri was banned for two Coppa Italia matches for his behavior.

Motta's Bologna surpassed expectations in Italy this season by clinching Champions League qualification for the first time in the club's history. With two matches of the Serie A campaign remaining, Bologna are third in the table, ahead of Allegri's Juventus on goal difference, and can finish no lower than fifth.

Juventus' 1-0 triumph over Atalanta ended a three-year trophy drought - a lengthy spell without silverware for a club that's won the Scudetto, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana more than any of its rivals.
