Moritz Leitner leaves Dortmund for Lazio

Moritz Leitner has joined Lazio on a permanent deal, ending a five-year association with Borussia Dortmund.

The midfielder, 23, switches for an undisclosed fee, and there has been no word from either club over the duration of his new deal.
"We thank Moritz for his efforts for BVB and wish him all the best for his future endeavours and a lot of success with his new club," said sporting director Michael Zorc, with translation from ESPN FC.
The signing works as a direct replacement at the Stadio Olimpico for Ogenyi Onazi, who left for Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super Lig on Monday.
