Watch out, pitchers. Joey Bats can still turn on one.
In his eighth game with the Atlanta Braves on Saturday, Jose Bautista finally left the yard, rocketing a sixth-inning solo shot over the left-field wall off the Marlins' Jarlin Garcia to tie the game at 5-5. The home run, No. 332 of his career, came shortly after he'd made an error at third base that led to three Marlins runs.
The homer snapped an 0-for-11 stretch for the 37-year-old Bautista, who's now hitting .167/.286/.333 in 28 plate appearances with Atlanta.
