Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is expected to miss three-to-four weeks with a strained hamstring, sources told ESPN's Jenna Laine.

Evans suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the New York Jets, limping off the field and not returning. The veteran finished the game with four catches on eight targets for 33 yards and a touchdown.

However, the 32-year-old avoided serious injury, as an MRI revealed a moderate strain, Laine adds. Evans also reportedly injured his left leg, unlike the issue with his right leg last year.

Off to a 3-0 start to the season, the Buccaneers face off against another undefeated team in the Philadelphia Eagles at home in Week 4. They'll follow that up with contests versus the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers.

Tampa Bay is likely to get some reinforcements at wide receiver against Philly, with Chris Godwin expected to make his season debut after recovering from an ankle injury.

Evans has recorded 1,000-plus receiving yards in every season since entering the league as a first-round pick in 2014 out of Texas A&M.
