A five-round fight between middleweight contenders Reinier de Ridder and Anthony Hernandez will serve as the main event of UFC Vancouver on Oct. 18, the promotion announced Tuesday.

Ranked fifth in the middleweight division, de Ridder is still unbeaten since making his UFC debut in November 2024. The 34-year-old most recently defeated Robert Whittaker via split decision on July 26.

Hernandez, the No. 6-ranked middleweight, enters the bout on an eight-fight winning streak. The 31-year-old last fought Aug. 9, submitting Roman Dolidze in the fourth round.

The UFC also announced Tuesday that a welterweight bout between Kevin Holland and Mike Malott will take place at UFC Vancouver. The card will additionally feature a meeting between top-10 bantamweights Marlon Vera and Aiemann Zahabi, among other fights.
