The Los Angeles Dodgers are expected to pursue relief pitching ahead of the trade deadline to help to bolster their injury-plagued bullpen, sources told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.

The Dodgers spent a combined $107 million during the offseason to add free-agent relievers Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates and re-sign Blake Treinen.

Scott's 4.09 ERA is his highest since 2022, Yates hasn't looked liked the dominant pitcher he was in 2024, and Treinen has only appeared in eight games this season due to a forearm strain.

Additionally, Evan Phillips is out for the year after undergoing Tommy John surgery, Brusdar Graterol is still recovering from shoulder surgery, and Michael Kopech isn't expected to return until late August after undergoing a knee operation.

The Dodgers' bullpen entered the All-Star break 16th in FIP, 24th in ERA, and 22nd in home runs allowed per nine innings.
