Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider was ejected in the fifth inning of Sunday's game against the Athletics after a replay review didn't go his team's way.

Schneider became livid and had to be held back by Blue Jays coaches after he stormed out of his dugout to shout at third base umpire Brian Walsh.

Walsh was responsible for ruling a potential home run from Davis Schneider foul after it soared near the pole in left field.

"I've got all the respect in the world for umpires," John Schneider said after losing 6-3 to the Athletics, according to Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith.

"It's just, from my vantage point, it was clearly fair."

Davis Schneider wound up hitting a homer in the same at-bat after his manager exited.
