The Dallas Mavericks are shutting down first overall pick Cooper Flagg for the remainder of this year's Las Vegas Summer League, a source told Mike Curtis of the Dallas Morning News.

The decision brings Flagg's Summer League run to an end after only two games. Flagg dazzled during what turned out to be his final appearance in Las Vegas, scoring 31 points on 10-of-21 shooting against the San Antonio Spurs.

Despite calling his 10-point pro debut "one of the worst games of my life," the 18-year-old averaged 20.5 points, five rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals during Summer League play.
