The Washington Wizards traded Kelly Olynyk to the San Antonio Spurs for Malaki Branham, Blake Wesley, and a 2026 second-round pick, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The draft selection is the least favorable between the Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, and Oklahoma City Thunder, adds Charania.

Washington also gets a $13-million trade exception in the deal, according to Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press.

Olynyk split last season between the Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 8.7 points and shooting 41.8% from deep across 44 appearances.

The Gonzaga product was recently dealt to the Washington Wizards in a three-team trade involving the Houston Rockets and Pelicans.

Olynyk will earn $13.4 million in the final year of his contract and provides the Spurs with another floor-spacing big following the addition of Luke Kornet.

San Antonio selected both Branham and Wesley in the first round of the NBA draft.

Branham averaged a career-low five points per contest last season but made 40.5% of his 3-point attempts. He started 61 games over three campaigns in the Lone Star State.

Wesley averaged 4.3 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 boards across 156 appearances with the Spurs.
