The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated star outfielder Corbin Carroll from the 10-day injured list prior to Saturday's game against the Kansas City Royals.

Carroll hasn't suited up since suffering a chip fracture in his wrist after he was hit by a pitch during a game against the Toronto Blue Jays on June 18. The D-Backs went 7-8 without the 2023 NL Rookie of the Year in the lineup.

The 24-year-old has gone deep 20 times with 44 RBIs, 10 stolen bases, and a .914 OPS over 72 games this season. His 3.5 fWAR is tied for the NL's sixth-highest total.

Carroll has a good chance to make his second All-Star appearance with reserves for the Midsummer Classic being announced Sunday.

Infielder Tim Tawa was optioned to Triple-A to make room for Carroll on the active roster.
