Oregon wide receiver Evan Stewart is believed to have torn his patellar tendon, sources told ON3 Sports' Pete Nakos.

Stewart is reportedly undergoing further evaluation and depending on the severity could miss between three and 12 months.

Stewart skipped the 2025 NFL Draft to return to the Ducks for his senior year. The Memphis native was Oregon's most experienced returning wideout after Tez Johnson and Traeshon Holden left for the NFL.

The former Aggies receiver recorded 48 receptions for 618 yards and five touchdowns in 2024. A lower back injury prevented Stewart from participating in Oregon's 41-21 loss in the Rose Bowl to Ohio State.

Stewart began his collegiate career at Texas A&M in 2022. He posted 1,163 yards on 91 catches for six touchdowns over two campaigns with the Aggies.

Oregon boasts a talented, experienced receiving corps, featuring transfers Malik Benson and Gary Bryant Jr. 2025 signee Dakorien Moore is also projected to be an option for quarterback Dante Moore.

The Ducks begin their season Aug. 30 against Montana State.
