LSU star Flau'Jae Johnson will remain in college instead of entering the 2025 WNBA Draft, sources told The Athletic's Sabreena Merchant.

Johnson could return to Baton Rouge for her senior season or enter the transfer portal before it closes on April 23 to seek a new school for her final year of eligibility.

Johnson has spent her entire collegiate career at LSU. The 21-year-old averaged 18.6 points to earn a third-team All-American selection this season.

The 5-foot-10 guard is the second high-profile collegiate star to turn down the WNBA this week to stay in the collegiate ranks after Notre Dame's Olivia Miles reportedly opted to enter the transfer portal instead of going pro.

Players had until Monday to announce their intentions to enter the draft unless their teams were still competing in the postseason.

LSU's NCAA Tournament run ended in the regional finals following a 72-65 loss to UCLA on Sunday. Johnson had 28 points on 10-of17 shooting in the defeat.
