Things got a little chippy during Thursday's contest between the Indiana Fever and Seattle Storm.

Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and Storm veteran Victoria Vivians needed to be separated after getting into a heated exchange midway through the second quarter.

After Clark stared down Vivians following a made triple, the latter bumped this year's No. 1 overall pick, prompting their teammates to step in.

Clark and Vivians were each assessed technical fouls on the play.

Seattle eventually won the contest 103-88 to improve to 5-3 on the season, while Indiana fell for the eighth time in nine games.

Clark finished with 20 points, nine assists, and three boards in 40 minutes of action.
