Blue Jays unveil 'night mode' City Connect uniforms
The Toronto Blue Jays unveiled new "night mode" City Connect uniforms Thursday, which feature the city skyline and "Toronto" across the chest. The cap has a maple leaf and a blue and red "T" that represents the pillars of city hall.

The skyline on the jersey is dark blue, which represents a reflection of the city on Lake Ontario, while the red is a nod to Canada.

The Jays will debut the new threads Friday against the Pittsburgh Pirates and will also don the uniforms on 14 other occasions this season.
Toronto joins the Cleveland Guardians, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, and Philadelphia Phillies as clubs to receive a City Connect uniform this year. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins are set to unveil their City Connect looks before the All-Star break.
