The Indiana Fever acquired guard Bria Hartley from the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday as part of a three-team trade with the Chicago Sky.

Indiana also received this year's seventh overall pick and a 2023 first-round selection from Chicago, as well as a second-rounder in 2022 and 2023 from Phoenix.

The Sky, meanwhile, get Fever guard Julie Allemand and the Mercury's 2023 first-round pick. Chicago sent Diamond Deshields to Phoenix in a sign-and-trade.

"We are excited to welcome Bria's veteran presence to Indiana," Fever general manager Tamika Catchings said in a statement. "She has proven to be a key contributor on multiple teams, including last year in helping Phoenix advance to the WNBA Finals.

"This trade allows us to secure more top-tier talent in this year's draft, and we also add more assets to control heading into 2023."

Hartley played in just six regular-season contests in 2021 after recovering from a torn right ACL suffered in August 2020. She averaged a career-best 14.6 points in 13 games with Phoenix in 2020, adding 4.5 assists, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.2 steals.

DeShields, a one-time All-Star and third overall pick in 2018, has spent her entire four-year career with the Sky. She played a key role off the bench during the 2021 postseason, helping Chicago defeat Phoenix in the WNBA Finals for the franchise's first championship.
