New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is confident he will still be making an impact at the end of his new 10-year extension.

"I'll be a bad mothereffer," Lindor said Thursday when asked what kind of player he'll be at age 38, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com.

The Mets and Lindor have agreed to a new deal reportedly worth $341 million. The four-time All-Star would've likely become the top free agent after the 2021 campaign if he didn't sign a new contract prior to his self-imposed Opening Day deadline.

"I'm honored, I'm blessed, I'm humbled for this opportunity to be in this organization for the next 11 years," Lindor added. "I'm honored, I'm privileged to wear blue and orange."

The 27-year-old's deal is easily the most valuable in Mets history, besting David Wright's $138-million pact from November 2012.

"To the fans in New York, here we go, baby," Lindor said. "Here we go."
