The Houston Astros have shown interest in free-agent closer Brad Hand, according to Robert Murray of FanSided.
Hand, 30, hit the open market in late October after the Cleveland Indians declined his $10-million option for next season.
The Toronto Blue Jays, New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, and Philadelphia Phillies have all reportedly expressed interest in the three-time All-Star.
Hand has registered 103 saves since 2017 while authoring a 2.61 ERA and 12.6 K/9.
Houston has been the most aggressive team in chasing high-leverage relievers this winter, sources told Murray.
The club is also reportedly keen on signing right-hander Liam Hendriks.
