Jets' Stafford suspended 1 game for high-stick to Avalanche's Holden

Winnipeg Jets forward Drew Stafford has been suspended one game for high-sticking Colorado Avalanche defenseman Nick Holden, the NHL's Department of Player Safety announced Monday.
Stafford was given a double-minor for high-sticking Saturday after his stick unintentionally hit Holden's face, forcing the blue-liner to leave the game briefly for repairs.
It's the first time Stafford has been fined or suspended by the league.
