Rangers score 2 goals in 21 seconds to bury Avalanche

Things really snowballed for the Colorado Avalanche on Friday.
Holding a 1-0 lead over the New York Rangers more than halfway through the second period, head coach Patrick Roy watched as his team fell into a 2-1 hole within the span of 21 seconds, thanks to Derek Stepan and Oscar Lindberg.

The first came after a fortuitous bounce off the end glass, while the second was scored from a seemingly impossible angle.

The offensive burst was all the Rangers needed, as they withstood 14 Colorado shots in the third period to hang on for the 2-1 win.
