The Montreal Canadiens have claimed forward Paul Byron off waivers.
Byron was placed on waivers by the Calgary Flames on Monday.
The 26-year-old center spent four seasons with the Flames after breaking in with the Buffalo Sabres in 2010-11.
He was a sixth-round pick of the Sabres in 2007.
