Bust out the champagne - or beer. The Washington Capitals won Tuesday night.

Following Nicklas Backstrom's overtime goal in Game 4 to tie their series with the New York Islanders at 2-2, Capitals defenseman Brooks Orpik was hit by a cup of beer thrown from the crowd.

A video of the incident shows teammate Joel Ward dodge the sudsy projectile only to have it hit Orpik right in the face.

Orpik had his face cut late in the first period after falling on John Carlson's skate, so it's good to see he put some ice on it.
