The Buffalo Sabres should be without their lone All-Star for the remainder of the regular season.
Forward Zemgus Girgensons is likely done for the season, head coach Ted Nolan told reporters on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old has been out of the lineup since Feb. 24 after blocking a shot in a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. He has missed the team's last 15 games.
Girgensons has 15 goals and 30 points in 61 games.
