There was a cannon of a different sort at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on Saturday night.
Nashville Predators captain Shea Weber destroyed the competition and the net in the Hardest Shot competition, firing a blast that registered 108.5 miles per hour.
The reactions of Patrick Kane and Phil Kessel say it all.
Weber's shot was the second-hardest of all-time in the competition behind Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara's 108.8-mile-per-hour blast in 2012.
