Sharks add Skinner on 1-year, $3M deal

The San Jose Sharks signed veteran forward Jeff Skinner to a one-year contract worth $3 million, the club announced Friday.
Skinner tallied 16 goals and 13 assists across 72 games for the Edmonton Oilers during the 2024-25 regular season. He added two points in five playoff games during the Oilers' run to their second straight Stanley Cup Final.
The 33-year-old two-time All-Star has amassed 699 career points (373 goals, 326 assists) over 1,078 contests with the Carolina Hurricanes, Buffalo Sabres, and Oilers.
Skinner won the Calder Trophy in 2010-11. He managed a career-high 82-point campaign with 35 goals for the Sabres in 2022-23.
