Cheechoo agreed to a contract with Medvescak Zagreb of the KHL, R-Sport reports.

Cheechoo, 33, has mostly toiled in the minors since 2010, scoring 32 points in 35 games in the AHL last season. The former San Jose Shark posted seasons of 93 and 69 points in the mid-2000s but has only seen his numbers go badly downhill since then. It doesn't appear he'll get another chance at reclaiming NHL glory in the near future.
