The Stars will face the Oilers in a Western Conference Final rematch from a year ago, which Edmonton won in six games.
Mark Scheifele, playing with a heavy heart just hours after the death of his father, opened the scoring for the Jets off a delayed penalty 5:28 into the second period. Sam Steel answered for the Stars less than six minutes later with a bar-down snipe off a juicy rebound from Connor Hellebuyck.
Harley netted the OT winner on the the power play after Scheifele took a tripping penalty on Steel with 15 seconds left in regulation.
Jake Oettinger was strong between the pipes for Dallas, stopping 22 of 23 shots. He notably robbed Mason Appleton in the third period to keep the game square.
Winnipeg, the Presidents' Trophy winner in the regular season, was 0-6 on the road during the 2025 playoffs and has lost 10 straight road postseason games dating back to 2023.
