Flames' Chad Johnson: Returning for further evaluation

Johnson (lower body) will undergo further evaluation back in Calgary, effectively ruling him out for the remainder of the team's road trip.

Analysis:

Johnson was finally getting another chance to start, and -- perhaps more importantly for Flames fans -- Brian Elliott was getting the night off before Johnson was injured after facing just one shot. If coach Glen Gulutzan opts to try giving Elliott another break, the recently recalled Jon Gillies could make his NHL debut.
