Busch Stadium looks all set for a cold night on the ice, rather than the warm summer days its used to.
The St. Louis Cardinals' ballpark was selected to host the NHL's ninth annual Winter Classic, which allows spectators to take in a rare contest outdoors.
Thanks to the St. Louis Blues' Twitter account, fans were given a quick glimpse of the stadium transforming into a temporary rink.

The Blues will host the Chicago Blackhawks for the event on Jan. 2.
