Falcons' Weatherspoon finds 6-figure check he forgot to deposit

Atlanta Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon appears to have come across a nice little surprise when packing up to move this week.

Being that NFL players have their base salary divided up into 17 checks throughout the season, and that Weatherspoon played under a $2.35-million deal in 2015, the amount lying around the house was likely well over six figures.

In justifying the mishap, Weatherspoon said his misplaced game check was from the lone week he did not receive a direct deposit payment.

The 28-year-old played the 2015 season with the Arizona Cardinals, but recently landed back in Atlanta to rejoin the team with which he spent the first four seasons of his NFL career.
