Seahawks' Lockett: Doctors told me to quit football or risk death

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver and return man Tyler Lockett took to his Instagram account Thursday to share the story of how his football career nearly came to an end a year ago at the combine when doctors told him he'd risk death if he continued to play.

Lockett doesn't explain how he progressed from doctors telling him football might kill him to getting cleared and eventually drafted by the Seahawks, but it's safe to say he wouldn't be permitted on an NFL field if he hadn't been cleared by league doctors.
