After three seasons backing up Russell Wilson in Seattle, Tarvaris Jackson is reportedly ready to test the open market.
A source close to the veteran quarterback told 710 ESPN Seattle's Jessamyn McIntyre that Jackson doesn't plan on re-signing with the Seahawks before free agency begins and that he turned down offers of more money to return to the team last season.
Jackson signed a $1.5-million contract with the Seahawks for 2015, up from the $1.25 million he made in 2014 and $840,000 the year prior.
The 32-year-old has appeared in eight regular-season games over the past three seasons, including four in 2015. His most extensive action came during the 2011 season when he made 14 starts for the Seahawks.
