The NFL's most valuable player is wearing his trademark flashy attire as he readies for the biggest game of his life.
Cam Newton wore all black, except for a gold Superman logo on his chest and gold cleats, as he warmed up in the hours before kickoff:

Then, perhaps symbolically, Newton stood alone in the Denver Broncos' end zone before kneeling to pray:
