Prior to his game-clinching performance in overtime, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was penalized for a vicious crackback block against the Green Bay Packers in Saturday's game.

The league fined Fitzgerald $23,152 for the infraction on Friday - the same amount Danny Amendola has to pay for his special-teams hit on Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Jamell Fleming.

Fitzgerald plans to appeal the fine, according to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports.

The Cardinals were in the red zone in the third quarter when the penalty happened, which backed them up, forcing a field goal.

Fitzgerald later made up for his blunder, finishing the game with 176 receiving yards and a magical 75-yard reception in overtime.
